
As a result of the plane crash in Unity state in southern Sudan, 18 people died.
According to the words of regional representative Joseph Monde, there were 23 people on board, including three children and three crew members. Five more passengers were hospitalized with various injuries.
"As soon as we received the information about the incident, we sent a team to the crash site to begin providing assistance," said Monde.
According to the statements of the representatives of the southern Sudanese authorities, the causes of the aviation incident are still unknown, and an investigation into the incident has begun.
